Our plans start at $1,999 a month when you pay month to month, or $1,499 a month on annual billing. BC clients add 5% GST, and advertising spend is paid separately, straight to Google or Meta. Plans follow the Trades.Agency pricing model, which is the family VictoriaAgency.ca belongs to.

Every price is for marketing and advice. We are not a contractor, so there are no installation, labour or materials charges anywhere on this page.

What drives the cost of marketing

Four things decide what a sensible budget looks like for a Greater Victoria business.

  1. How many areas you target. Owning three nearby municipalities costs far less than trying to cover the core, the West Shore and the Peninsula at once.
  2. How competitive your service is. Emergency plumbing in Saanich is more expensive to win than mobile dog grooming in Metchosin.
  3. How many channels you need. Local search alone is cheaper to run than local search plus ads plus seasonal campaigns plus a new website.
  4. How fast you want results. Paid ads buy speed; organic search and reviews cost less but take months.

How to choose a plan

Work backwards from what a customer is worth, rather than forwards from what you'd like to spend.

Here is an example. A Colwood residential cleaning company averages $180 per clean, with regular clients booking about 12 cleans a year. A regular client is worth about $2,160 a year in revenue, and at 40% margin, about $864. If the Growth plan on annual billing ($1,499 a month, or $17,988 a year) helped add 25 regular clients over the year, that's about $21,600 in annual margin from new clients, plus their following years. If the business could only realistically add five, the plan wouldn't pay back yet, and the owner would be better off starting with the free steps in our guides.

In general:

  • Growth fits most single-location trades and local businesses with healthy job values.
  • Elite fits firms running several services or areas at once, especially if they also need a new site.
  • Enterprise fits multi-crew or multi-location operations where marketing is a core function.

What you get on every plan

  • A written plan agreed before work starts.
  • Monthly reporting in plain language: enquiries, cost per enquiry, sources and areas.
  • Accounts, domain and website in your name.
  • Direct access to a senior strategist.
  • No lock-in beyond the 30-day notice.

The services page describes what we do in each channel, and the FAQ covers contracts and ownership in more detail.

Costs that aren't in the plan

Be ready for these, so there are no surprises:

  • Ad spend, paid to Google or Meta directly. We'll recommend a starting budget from your cost-per-lead ceiling.
  • Software you choose, such as booking or CRM tools, billed by the vendor.
  • Photography or video shoots, if you want professional work beyond what your team captures on phones.
  • Printing, for vehicle signage, cards or flyers.

The free first step

If you run an eligible trades business, your first half-hour with us is free and has nothing to do with signing up. We'll look at your current visibility, talk through your numbers and tell you honestly which plan, if any, makes sense. Contact us by call, text or email to set it up.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract?

Plans are month to month with no long-term contract. You can cancel with 30 days' notice. Choosing a year up front simply brings each month's fee down.

Does the plan price include ad spend?

No. Google and Meta charge your own card directly for ads, so you see exactly what was spent. Our fee covers strategy, management, content and reporting.

Do you charge GST?

Yes. Greater Victoria clients pay in Canadian dollars plus 5% GST, and provincial sales tax only where it applies to the service.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. For eligible trades businesses the first 30 minutes cost nothing, sit outside any paid plan and carry no obligation.

Can a very small business afford this?

Be honest with yourself about the numbers. If a new customer is worth only a little and you need very few, a plan may not pay back yet, and we'll tell you. Our guides include free steps you can take first.
